Martin Brundle faced a new high-speed challenge when launching his new book – signing over 400 copies in record time.
At least 500 fans queued at the Brundle family’s Volkswagen dealership in North Lynn to meet the former racing driver and buy copies of his new book, Working the Wheel.
The Millfleet dominoes team are about to head to the British National Singles Final in Bridlington – a feat they have achieved for the past ten years.

Lewis Ely, a Year 11 pupil at Lynn’s King Edward VII High School, returned home from the British Athletics Championships for the Blind with three gold medals and two British records.
The 15-year-old West Norfolk AC member won the 100m in 13.3 seconds, broke another British record in the high jump at 1m 70 and his third gold was in the discus.
Former Essex spinner Ray East, one of cricket’s spontaneous funny men, was the guest speaker at the West Norfolk Cricket League’s 25th anniversary dinner at the William Burt Centre, West Winch.

In November 2007, Gordon Rasberry – ‘Raz’ – who has been associated with Terrington FC since playing for the ‘Lads’ at the age of 14, receives a Football Association Long Service Award.
The presentation was made by Norfolk FA’s Roger Howlett, watched by the Terrington team and county officials. Gordon had a long playing career and was either chairman or secretary of the Saturday and Sunday teams, and was still leading the line at the age of 76.
November 2007: The Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do had several students from West Norfolk take part in the British Championships at the Nottingham Arena.
Those seven were among the successful contestants, from left, Emily Benefer, Warren Vice, Shane Lucas, Ellen Turner, Alex Havers, Niki Reeves and Charlotte Simpson.
Also in November 2007, lineout action from the West Norfolk rugby derby at Wisbech.
Although resplendent in their new shirts sponsored by Norfolk Sofa Factory and shorts sponsored by Jarben Bespoke Furniture and Interiors, WNRUFC went 11 points to nil away to their local rivals in a fiercely contested game.
In November 2008 a photo call for Lynn Warriors Swimming Club following the club championships held at St James’ Pool in Lynn.
