KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Shoppers can expect to spend more on turkeys this Thanksgiving Missouri Department of Agriculture.

The bureau said higher prices were due to higher demand and inflation.

There are a few ways to save on a turkey this November.

Just in time for Thanksgiving, Hy-Vee locations are once again offering a turkey-themed deal.

Buy a 6-7 pound Boneless Hormel Cure 81 Ham for $5.99 a pound and get a free Honeysuckle White Frozen Turkey.
