Oklahoma City, Nov. 08, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) today announced a partnership with the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Football League Alumni Association to provide educational opportunities to former student-athletes interested in pursuing a college degree. .

OCCC President, Dr. Mautra Staley Jones said, “We are very excited about this unique and innovative partnership with the Oklahoma Branch of the NFL Alumni Association. “Supporting ex-athletes who want to continue their educational journey is aligned with our mission for a stronger and more educated community while meeting the needs of business and industry leaders seeking an innovative workforce.”

OCCC advisors work directly with athletes to develop customized research plans incorporating general research and prerequisites. Upon completion of the OCCC program, participants can continue their studies at partner four-year universities.
