So Ava’s manager hooks her up with Deborah because she’s her head writer, and the two form a beautiful bond.

Downs and Jen Statsky, the talented minds behind this project. Unlike “Against The Rope,” the duo aren’t biologically related, but their bond is akin to the mother-daughter dynamic Angela dreams of with her child.
