Bellator Dublin is ready today (Friday, September 23, 2022) Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Benson Henderson fights against Peter Queally at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland level battle. In the co-star show, Melvin Manhoff and Joel Romero will collide in a light heavyweight tilt.

Round 1: The two are tentatively scheduled to start. They exchange low kicks. Manhoef’s high kick as he slides onto the canvas. Romero’s low kick, he fell Manhof…don’t know what. Romero’s side control. Romero’s big deal. Side controls for “Soldier of God”. Now half-back for Romero and not doing much. Romero is looking for Americans. He locked it for a while before Manhoef escaped. Romero is still in side control, and Manhof is in a good position as soon as he hits the ground. Not the most exciting round, but Romero took it. 10-9 Romero.
Round 2: From Manhoef to the middle. Romero’s low post kick. Romero tagged Manhoefl and let him fly for a while. He regroups. The two are still tentatively engaged. Romero swarmed, and a big right hand landed. Manhof needs to let go. Romero scored and Manhoff defended well, but his effort ate his right hand. Romero got down on one knee, pretending to fall. Mahev bites. Manhoff’s low kick south of the boundary lands, and Romero throws it away. Romero marked Manhoef with his left hand, giving him a momentary shake. “Soldier of God” tried to fly knee, stopped by Manhof. 10-9 Romero
Round three: Manhoef needs to show something here. He was knocked down by Romero. Romero’s Siee Controls. Romero mounts, he begins to land with his huge elbow, and now unloads the big bomb on the helpless Manhove, and he’s out! Wow. Romero appeared out of nowhere.
The end result: Romero def.Manhof passes third round TKO
145 lbs: Mads Burnell vs. Pedro Carvalho
Round 1: Both come out to swing. Burnell finished Carvalho. He turned away. Carvalho fought against it, but Burnell slammed him into the cage. Carvalho bounced back. Take action against the cage. The knee is fine from Carvalho to the midsection. Burnell scored and he got it. Carvalho struggled to his feet, but Burnell was wrapped tightly around him. Burnell knocked him down again, but Carvalho bounced back quickly. Burnell popped a nice combo before he knocked down again. Carvalho couldn’t get rid of Burnell, who dominated this round. Carvalho finally parted, and he started landing before being shot down, again. 10-9 Burnell.
Round 2: Carvalho starts with a low kick and Carvalho delivers a nice jab. Burnell hits a huge ball down the left with a shot and he gets it. Burnell is looking for the rear bare choke. Burnell shoots from the side. When Carvalho tried to escape, they scrambled, and Burnell didn’t. They parted and Carvalho was knocked down again. This is a master class at Burnell that I can’t count. Burnell looked again for the rear bare choke. Carvalho escaped and he is now under supreme control. But only for a second, as Burnell completed a beautiful sweep. Controls are now on the side. Burnell brought back Carvalho. guess what? Burnell knocks out Carvalho…again…easy. Carvalho fought back hard and he had the advantage on his feet. He’s shooting for a knockout now, and he’s got it. Burnell looked tired. Carvalho’s big elbow ends the round. 10-9 Burnell
Round 3: Carvalho got off to a strong start. High kick connection. Burnell really doesn’t have much feet. Nice low kick from Carvalho. Carvalho really took a swipe at Burnell, who then looked for an end. Carvalho pushed Burnell to the cage, where he was unloading his knee from the clench, and then dropped Burnell. Carvalho’s flank, he got his second win, and Burnell looked completely exhausted. Nice elbows from Carvalho. Burnell wasn’t really trying to get out of the position, he was exhausted. Carvalho is trying to get on the horse. Great bout from Carvalho, he’s pounding Burnell…but it might not be enough to win.
Final result: Carvalho def.Burnell unanimously decided
145 lbs: Leah McCourt Compared Dayana Silva
Round 1: Silva starts with a big right hand. McCourt ate it. Looks like a head-on conflict. McCourt hits a good combo and then hits a knee in the middle. McCourt shoved Silva onto the cage, unbuckling his knee to the midsection. McCourt brings back Silva. Silva tries to escape. McCourt attempted a knockout, her knee level with Silva’s face. Silva managed to reverse the position and now had McCourt leaning against the cage. Nice right hand from McCourt, and another. Silva scored and she got it. McCourt struggled to his feet. 10-9 McCourt.
Round 2: Silva swings wildly. McCourt hits a few punches. Some sloppy striking form both opened the round. McCourt started to tighten. Silva played well in the low post, and McCourt’s uppercut was good. Silva kicked to the body and his left hand landed in a certain way. McCourt hits straight from the right, then knees to his head as Silva ducks. Another crazy strike by Silva, with nothing but air. McCourt’s low kick landed. McCourt’s right eye gleamed. McCourt pushed Silva to the cage, and Silva switched positions. From Silva’s knee to midsection. Silva has a good left hand. closed loop. 10-9 Silva.
Round 3: The push kick started the McCourt thing. Silva’s right hand ring, left hand. Silva started to find her best. McCourt needed to pick up her pace, but her eyes began to light up, passing under her left eye. McCourt made a mistake or two, and Silva swung wildly again. Silva kicks the ball low. There are three minutes left in the intense game. Silva charged in, her savage attack only catching the air. McCourt had another push and she shot to the ground, but it was jammed. Silva pushes her foe into the cage. From Silva’s knee to midsection. McCourt had a strong start, but I had Silva in the last two rounds. McCourt’s offense slowed. Nice right hand from McCourt, then a left jab. Silva shot for tkaedown to bring McCourt back at the end of the round. 10-9 Silva
Final result: McCourt def.Silva unanimously decided
145 lbs: Ciaran Clark vs Raphael Hudson
Round 1: Hudson opens with a low kick, then a left hook hits the body, then a right tat drops Clark! He swarmed and is now on full alert. Clark got rid of the cobwebs. Fighting for position, Clark searches for the handrail. Hudson got rid of it. Get out of your body. Clark fired from the bottom and Hudson fired back. Clark tried to get another handrail and Hudson came out again, punching with a massive hammer before returning to the back. Clark was breathing heavily after being surrounded by Hudson in the first round. 10-9 Hudson
Round 2: Clark plays aggressive, eating elbow to head, then flying knee. That’s enough to get him fired. Hudson is dropping bombs right now, which is a bad move. Hudson is now at half-back, transitioning to the full team. Clark used his elbow again. Clark managed to get up and they parted. Hudson has punches that have worked so far. He tried a flying knee, but he slipped. Clark is now at half-guard. He’s looking for a bare choke, no dice. Now for side control for Clark. Lots of people scrambled on the ground, with Clark looking for submissions as Hudson tried to survive. 10-9 Clark
Round 3: Clark scores a field goal and he gets it right away. Border control, he transitioned to defender. Hudson temporarily dropped his back, and Clark is now looking for a bare choke. Clarke shot from the side of the head to score in a draw. Clark was trying to flatten Hudson and both of his hooks went in. After bare choke try. With one arm under his chin, Hudson fled in an instant. Clark is still working on it. He locked it, Hudson taps! Great comeback for Clark.
Final result: Clark def. Hudson passes third round submission (rear bare choke)
